It's always the hang ups with fund. They should give away the bussekins at 25% of normal price. If they did that, I'd buy FOUR TIMES as many! Brilliant!

Pulled the trigger (so to speak) and put a Springfield 4" 1911 45ACP on order. I figured I'd rather have a 1911 (at a great price) than another 9 at this point. Still hesitating on the 380. Maybe that will change over the summer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I am curious how the Springfield 1911's are. I have never shot one before. Of course my experience has been limited to Colts and Kimber.
I only own 1 1911.

I stay on the fence about 1911's. I like history and character of it all but can't see paying $1k+ for one. May buy a RIA or GSG just to has something else to shoot the .45acp round. When it came down to owning a 45 I went with the FNP45. Other than just having something else to chamber the .45 round I think im done with firearms in .40+ calibers.
