I tried a couple strokes on my ceramic sticks. There is no edge to be found on this knife. It bugs me.

That's really unusual, every knife I've ever gotten from the factory has been at least semi-sharp.

send it back. I let some knife issues bug me to the point I sold a knife I really wanted to keep. realize now that patience would've served me much better. Call Renee send it back and be happy. If you dump it you will never have been able to appreciate it for what it could be.

I have been lucky, until now. The worst I have needed was a bit of touch up. This is like a darned training knife. I literally was so confident in how dull it was I put the blade on my palm and drew it across the fleshy part of my hand and didn't catch an edge or get a scratch

I just sent her an e-mail. I was just hoping I could use it for camping and hiking on vacation. I understand things happen in a production line. But I have high standards in equipment. Until this one Scrapyard and Busse-kin have produced.

I understand were you are coming from. I was actually out mine in the back of the closest and was ready to forget about it. In the end I wanted it to just go away.

I have high hopes for the knife. Its a good design for what I want. But until that edge is fixed its a $200 letter opener.

Wonder if it just got past the sharpener somehow?

It looks like they made an attempt. To look at it it looks sharp and polished. It has a sticker for the sharpened by and inspected by. I am guessing someone was in a hurry.

I am sure they will make it right. I have yet to see or hear someone who said they didn't get taken care of here.

Mine came back perfect but since it wasn't what I asked for I couldn't keep it. Not that I'm hard to satisfy but I wasn't satisfied. but like I said even though it wouldve been a second and a half time I wouldve rather gotten satisfactory results than to leave it like I did.

I think the Busse company wants to make things right. I think sometimes the customers have to step up. In some cases maybe more than once. But at least they want to make it right.

I have no doubt they'll make it right. Probably be after Blade though, I figure they're full bore getting that stuff ready.

I am just bummed because I have this knew supercool toy and I had visons of fuzz sticks and camp fires in my head and my knew toy isn't up to the task right now.
