thinking of kicking off some type of knife blog or outdor gear and knfe related website deal. I'm not the guy for getting together the info but I can probably handle the technical side. if I can find some guys that have the time and interest and can stick to the rules and flow of the ScrapYard Forum I may give it a try. I would totally be down for something like this. I have quite abut of free time. cool! it's been on my mind some time now.I get a little just too busy to focus on any one particular subject. my problem is in generating articles and keeping up with the latest greatest. I can barely keep up with the yard much less an entire industry. but I think I can make make rest happen. oh and I hate writing so there's no way I could generate enough content to keep things interesting. but overall I think the general idea and the topics in his forum could be expanded on. good forumula...

I am too cheap to stay on the cutting edge of outdoors gear. I buy quality but usually after it has been out a while and refined then I buy from the lowest bidder who has the gear I want.
I just bought last years model camel back for 40 bucks as opposed to the $120 they wanted last year.

well I'm not even that much of a outdoors and guns gear guy. I have been enjoying the topic and community in the few years I have been paying attention though. I was all electronic music gear for most my life. I can talk that stuff all day but it never even accured to me until now to a website based on it. I .guess i would rather do one to promote this stuff.

I do my best not to go for hype but maybe ahoy half the time I'm a grab and go type. see it, want it, grab it, and go... have to wonder how much I cost myself over the years with that.
