I don't know. They are usually rounder, narrower and longer. I think its the length and that you sit in the center so the weight is distributed more evenly. My kayak is 15 foot and its a shorter one.

She mentioned it today when she asked if we could go camping when we got back. It will be fun. If I could get one of my firends to get off his butt and take his boy it would be a blast. They are the same age and have been buddies since they were born.
