Hi Todd! Congrats on your new blade! It truly is nice one. Skunk in some parts the Canadian way is more reasonable than the Finnish way. Alltough I don´t understand the logic of restricting the number of possessed firearms. Isn´t there an old saying from the "wild west" that the really dangerous man is the man with only one gun - he probably knows how to use it...? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Who sharpened it? There seems to have been a problem with one sharpener. Mine says Sharpened by Patrick.

He (the sharpener) just needs some instruction on doing a convex. Dan said that this is the first (I think) for the yard and they were having Busse Combat crews teach the process to them. I was thinking the same thing. Probably new to the sharpeners for the Yard.

I made a v-grind on my WD. It was sharp but not hair cutting sharp. V-grind is the grind I´m familiar with so now the blade is sharp and I´m happy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Who sharpened it? There seems to have been a problem with one sharpener. Mine says Sharpened by Patrick. That the one that sharpened the ones that came relatively dull. IF you are unsatisfied contact Renee. Hopefully Patrick has gotten the training he needed from the Busse crew or others at Scrapyard. Sometimes things just take time and then get ironed out just fine.

"Beware the man with only one gun; he probably knows how to use it." Is the way I have always heard it. And It refers of course of being familiar with "Your weapon" and having to make each shot count as many times you only had a VERY limited amount of ammo available to you.

Yeah but JJ will be back. I think he was going to be on Leave (vacation) for most of the month and will be then needing to Get set up in his new job and home in Salt Lake city.

Sometimes things just take time and then get ironed out just fine. I'll get out the sandpaper and mousepad and get it sharpened up. I've had a little practice with convex lately. I convexed my Rodent Solution and my Izula, and I'm pretty happy with the results.
