I am heading down to south florida tommorrow for a alligator hunt. I am debating wich blade to bring for the DEATH BLOW! I wanted to get some input from the yard. Here are my choices. 1. Regulator 2. Regulator LE 3. RMD 4. S5 LE 5. WAKI PS: If Dan would like to overnight me a special GATORZILLA blade I would be happy to test it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well it's not like I am a fan of the Regulator or anything but I would go with the RegulatorLE. Hands down RegulatorLE! Get in there and kill that beast with that beautiful blade,

Do you think you're guide will let you use a knife? Most utilize a bang-stick to seal the deed....as I would think one wrong jab and you'll lose an arm. I vote Waki....keep yer freakin distance. I CALL DIBS ON ANY GATOR SKIN YOU MAKE AVAILABLE FOR SHEATHS <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Be sure to post pics...I "almost" went on a hunt when I lived in Orlando, but missed the window to draw a ticket and then we ended up moving back to Texas. Always wanted to do it!! Have fun out there!!!

oh ya i will definately use a bang stick.
I was refering to one last(lets make double sure that 400 pound 10 ft gator is dead) blow. I will definately take pics and if there is any left over hide I will let you know.

Waki does give some more reach and has a good thrusting point. Just don't stab all the way through the gator and the boat. A Regulator would do as well and be less cumbersome in the boat. Green eyes will be watching you!
