On your sanded scales, I like the less bright one but I like subdued things anyway.

with those scales I really think that the red and yellow should be celebrated a little more, have them stand out!

Thanks, I do prefer the more toned down color, the other one is a nice explosion of color, but it looks out of place on a knife

Eh. I think it would look cool on a knife, if not just for the fact that it hasn't been done before

I'm gonna finish sanding them and the red and yellow should move in a bit and be a little more noticable

I'm gonna make some new micarta soon, with richer colors I think instead of such bright colors,

You know what I think I've never seen? Purple micarta. I think a deep purple micarta slabs on a black coated knife would look sick.

I might give it a go, just to see how it actually looks on a knife

I don't think I've ever seen purple either, I have some maroon micarta

I know a lot of people love orange slabs and handles because they're easy to find, I'm sure bright red, yellow, and pink slabs would be impossible to lose!
