Thats my beater setup. Runs well. I am hoping to have my others this week. Hopefully everything comes in this week.

I am getting a couple of AR lowers. I am building a pistol and then eventually will build a longer range setup with the matching lower. I am not entirely sure which way to go with the second build yet.

IF I get another, it'll be a 20 inch rifle, standard stock and either flat-top or A2, didn't like the adjustable stock at all. That was my biggest grip, could never get comfortable with it.

Also will go to 20 round mags exclusively, I didn't care for the extra weight of the 30 rounders. Plus can't shoot prone with the 30 rounders, or at least I can't.

On the rifle I will probably go with a fixed length adjustable stock like this and a 20-24 inch fixed barrell flat top with optics only.

That one will be an expensive build. I am guessing it will be a couple of years to complete because of cost alone. I will buy one peice at a time.

Sounds like it may take a while, but will be worth it once done. Only way I'll go back to an AR would be for a long range setup.

The stock is 240 bones alone. The trigger will be close to the same. Thats not counting a barrel, upper and a scope. I am thinking close to 2-3 grand after its all said and done with all the bells and whistles.

I just won't mention it to my wife.
