My first Dogs came yesterday, all I could say was wow! Then I said "whoa" as my wife flipped out over the fact that I did a little early gift shopping with this order. After the dust settled (I retreated to the backyard woods to die in peace) my 4 year old came out. She wanted to build a campfire, so she gathered wood and I chopped with the S6, no point in a hatchet I guess. It made short work of 3" seasoned cherry. Cut a few lengths of that, then a bunch of little stuff. It zipped out some tinder and fuzz sticks. One match and we had a nice little blaze.
My wife came out, saw what a nice time we were having and that the kid was learning stuff. I got and apology and a thanks! Not only did the S6 stop the attack, it performed a miracle!
Unfortunately my other knives are suffering from feelings of inadequecy. They look like strips of tin foil with handles to me.
Knives, because we were born without claws!

Nice work! I'll try that next time sometime. I hope my wife doesn't intercept my Hook - that'd take more than a miracle I think...

You see guys. It's not about the knives. Its about the human bonds these knives nurture. We buy these sharp, pointy things for our loved ones. It is for them we make this sacrifice. So I say buy on and continue your selfless sacrifices.

A great story jmosh. Knives have been a fundamental part of outdoor togetherness for a very long time. It's great that your 4 year old will have these please memories to look back on.
And its good you parried the attack
Dice won't be so lucky because I wrote in big letters "Woohoo, Here's Your New Knife Dice" on his box.

i always let my wife know when i'm buying a new knife. she thinks i'm crazy anyways, so it just works for us.

Enjoy your S6, best of a very good bunch! It's nice that a family can get into outdoor pursuits together!
