We're starting to get cooler weather here, last two nights I've came to work it has been 46 degrees when I leave town. But it's been getting up into the mid 70's during the day. Gonna to have to turn on the old furnace pretty quick I'm afraid.

Ok, in order as best as I can remember them being asked.

1. An Emerson combat karambit or super karambit or a Fox knives K-bit. don't need one, but really like the looks of them for some strange reason. I had pretty much figured on the fox (118.00 shipped) then the tire thing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

Yup, really enjoying the truck. Me and the wife along with our nieghbour and the lady we got the truck from have now turned into the 4 musketeers. I am starting to learn how to dirve the truck for maximum mileage. I TRY and not rev it up over 2grand and set the cruise at 1500-1650 (between 55 and 58mph) and am now averaging 19 point something MPG.

Seems like EVERY time I get to where I can buy a new piece of steel something comes up. Oh I did buy a new parang style blade Sunday at a flea market. Meyerco (blackie collins design it says) with about a 9 inch blade. The clam pack called it a Utility camp model but I can't find it anywhere on their website. It may be an illegal import. Supposed to be HC420 steel. I'm trying to sharpen it up but man does it need work. Finally brought out the Lansky diamond hone setup to try and establish an angel on it at 25 degrees and when I finally do I will probably then try and take it down to about 20 degrees per side. I think it might be a fairly good RC hardness, but won't know for sure until I FINALLY get it sharpened up.

That is pretty good for a full size truck!

Unfortunately I don't have any kerambits myself.

I have one "baby" K-bit. A crkt ringer-2. Actually it's a pretty useful design. I used it this summer to pick corn and okra and also for some "maters with really stubborn vines. That hooked blade just will not slide off the cut.
