I have big mitts and they aren't bad. I don't hold them in my palm like some knives. I hold it like a weight bar, further forward towards my fingers with the spine of the handle towards my knuckles

Yeah.. that does work well doesn't it!! I love my DM's - one to use, one to keep minty. What do you plan to do with your guard/hook when you get it? (I tried opening a beer... doesn't work, but I can't figure out why!!)

I'm gonna drink until I figure out how to open a bottle with it!

Other than that, I am not sure. Family photos are in order as by that time I should have one of every SYKCO blade in my possession! Woohoo!

That Scrapper 6 LE was by far the hardest to find and snag.

May Dan Busse and God Almighty forgive me if I ever get a SS-4. That will be like wearing my watch and carrying my wallet. Use it? ARE YOU NUTZ!!!

"It's for lookin at."

Nooooo! That’s such a waste to only have 1 piece of INFI and never use it! If it ain’t a crime it should be! You don’t have to abuse it, but you can’t appreciate its virtues unless you use it. One of the benefits of INFI is edge retention. You could use it opening mail, cutting up cardboard, cutting food, etc. with no noticeable wear to it. But, that way you can still appreciate its qualities and still have it look nice. I’ve used mine mostly for opening mail or eating with. (Makes a great steak knife!) If I’m going to do something hard like batoning or something, I used a “work” knife, as opposed to an EDC knife. I generally want my EDC knives looking nice, because they represent the yard. I may have the occasion to use them and strike up a conversation about knives, and I want my EDC knives (except DM) to look nice in case I show them to someone.

Nice job Chris! I don't think I have the funds to do a full lineup - but the ones that I do have are getting the cr@p beaten out of them!

One of these days when I'm rich I'll try and acquire the full lineup - it'll be much, much harder to do then though!

If you get a chance at a LE, do not delay. I have been trying to find one since I first came to the yard. I scored one by emailed the seller less than 10 minutes after his ad went up.

Dan's knives really speak to me. They represent what I want in a tool: function over form and unquestionable performance and quality.

I'm still kicking myself for only getting one.

Have to use a different handle though.

I don;t see Dan coming out with an LE of every one of his blades. The Scrapper 6 and DF make sense. If the Hook becomes a main lineup then perhaps as well.

I'd like to see a full 5" cutting edge DM with a regular SYKCo grip on it.
