I've done that lately with the books I've bought. Hammerheads is one and the other is the first Stephen King book I ever read, The Talisman.

Never was much on Stephen King, just couldn't get into his style of writing. But it's been years, maybe I should give it another try.

Several of his books take a while to actually get started. I just finished Lisey and thought about giving up several times before I actually "got into it". Then it was a pretty good read.

Just say a commercial for "Alaska State Troopers" and made me remember. According to our Chief Deputy my little 20ga "Riot Gun" is legal after all! I thought it was about an inch and a half to short in the barrel so I never had it put together. Well according to Missouri statutes it IS legal because it has an overall length of more than 26 inches! Happy time, happy time.
