depends what you want it for Randy. If you shoot it well then keep it, but .22 lr is one of the most economical and pratical rounds out there.

I know where a Kimber Model 82 heavy brl single shot is and it has a beautiful stock and a rear sight that takes a scientist to work. I would like it but it is a bench/range gun so I won't have it.

I will have to teach at the outdoor range tomorrow so I will get enough snow and rain then.

Check out CMMG and their drop in kit. The kit replaces your bolt and carrier, and a mag. I assume your brl twist is a 1-9". When finished just fire a few rds of 5.56mm to clean the brl out. Not the best accuracy out of a 1-7" twist.

We've got firearms training going on this week too. Of course it's supposed to rain all week, plus highs in the 40's instead of the 70's we've been having. Glad I'm not out there this week!

I like my bolt 22 the best. The 10/22 is nice and I'll never sell it. But that CZ is the most Comfortable and accurate 22 I have ever shot.

We have a course once a week and then equals a few times. Then we are running an Academy through and I teach there as well.

We just have annual qualifications here, spring is standard qualifying and fall is combat course. I've got to shoot the standard qualifying before, but not the combat stuff.

I just can't warm up to a bolt gun for .22 and I don't know why. Guess I like the quick follow up shot the 10/22 offers, but I know the bolt gun would be just as accurate.

As accurate as my 10/22 is, I can't imagine needing anything more accurate for real-world use. It's no target gun, but I can head shoot squirrels about as far as I can see them. (Not that far, with my eyesight about 50 yards)
