Come mow mine, it's about ready for the first cutting of the year!

I just got done shuffling 1.2tb of stored data around. Managed to completely delete and loose ~180gb in the process somehow. luckily most of these files were duplicates or just stuff I saved "because" but that's still a lot to loose. Main reason is because from this point on I reapply can't afford to loose any files and have people depending on me to have things in order. Plus it's time to do a format, reinstall the OS, and upgrade my security, software, and do some tweaks for workflow. Next backup time is sure to be even more massive of an undertaking so I'm doing all I can to sort out my mess now. I hate the Idea of loosing files any more and I need to get my duplicates under control. Going to backup what I have on external drives and use a duplicate finder to thin everything out. Hope to start taking advantage of online storage and maybe invest in a nice used server down the line at some point. It's pretty crazy how fast files can add up though. I still have a a couple 286/386 CPUs and zip drives in storage from when I was little kid. Now I don't even thing DVD-R is that great of an option for me.

I really need to back up my files. I use an external hard drive for back up, just haven't done it in a while.

I deleted about 200 gb of photos recently, old high school sports photos that I had saved for parents to order. I figure that after 4 years they probably weren't going to get any more LOL.

good luck with your projects... I hope to pick up a few sheets of kydex in the next week or so. not for knife sheahs though. I have some gadgets I want to work on. I think I may lleave the sheaths up to buybrown and rainwalker for a while.
