BUT for some reason I just can't get my Weiner sharpened the way I want. All my others are just fine, but not that one for some reason. Heck even my Muppy I don't have any problem with. Maybe I am just not taking enough time and am to impatient.

I love using my BDLE. It might be my most used smaller blade. Good at a lot of tasks, not the best for any one job, but like me we can do a lot of things LOL. The BDLE was my third Yard blade--SODLE, MUKLE, then the BDLE on the secondary market. Paid a bit for it, but it is only money.

Randy, I found with the BDLE there is a challenge due to the sweep of the blade. You will get the hang of it.

Mine won't sharpen right either. Not sure if it's the steel, or just my technique, but I've had a devil of a time getting it sharp.

On my WD all I have done is strop it. In fact, I have not even used the one I have. I have had about 5 and sold the other 4.

Just realized the British Colonel in the Bridge over the Kwai is the one and only Obe One Konobe from Star Wars. Not sure if that is how you spell it but you get the idea.

My WD is probably my most used blade. I love it. Plus it's got the best utility sheath of all the knives I've got as well, makes it easy to carry.

I usually don't have a problem getting a knife sharp, might take longer with some than others but I can get them sharp. I'm still struggling with the weiner though
