Not bragging, but I knew how it shot. Bulls at 50 yards, just had to hold off about the top of the head and the width of the shoulder on to the right. 10 RING!

If I hadn't sold my P229 .40 I would have carried that. I'd still like to have a P245 though.

i love my dads 225. his department actually gave it to him to use on duty, but he switched it out for a HK USP45.

I think I've decided to keep my purchases in the 2's and 3's. I have a FNP45 and love it. i was never really sold on .45acp in the first place but now I think Im good. I still want a RIA just to get a feel for the 1911 platform but I can't see going over 6-700 for any 1911. but for whatever reason theses tried and true coonan stands out to me.
guess I went with FN over sig because sigs really never get my attention much any more. unless it's a used one for a really good price.

got to the counter at three or four times now to buy a glock and never could do it. I would ask the guy to let me hold it one last time and it was always something there that felt better. honestly i will probably carry my Sig226 .40 cal on duty.
in the academy the only thing we shot was Glock. must have shot over 3000 round through them. still dont like them haha. its a nice handgun, good quality, just not comfortable for me to shoot. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

The Glocks do have a different feel to them.

I have narrowed my stable down a lot. I don't have a 9mm except the wife's HK P7M8 and an Uzi, a couple 1911's, a S&W 581, a S&W Model 17 in 22 lr, and a USFA SAA with a 7 1/2" brl. Those are what I shoot so I kept them. Now I do want a CCO size 1911 for summer carry.

I have had many Glocks, and they are good guns--I just have never warmed up enough to them.
