I was wanting to ask how you two were doing, but didn't want to intrude and possibly bring up sadness again. I am glad you are trying again though. No disrespect meant but it's kinda like riding a horse, if you fall off you MUST get back on again, just to control your own fear/sadness.

Beating a dead horse here. My son is growing a HUGE fondness towards me and I think it's because I'm always away from home and I'm not doing any of the "dirty work". My wife may be developing a bit of resentment. I hate this. My son (Rhett) is 21 months old.

Just a part of life Adam. He knows and loves Daddy. Daddy is "Easier" on him, if by nothing else than NOT getting on him as much. IF the situation was reversed he would get more attached to your wife. Just the way we are as people, even little Spider Pigglets!

I think you're absolutely right, Randy. Get right back on. I know you haven't forgotten. You shouldn't worry yourself with things like that, though. We know you have enough on your plate.

Hey, I may at times be cold and callous, but I DO worry about folks I consider as friends. Just the way I am. Many times I want to know how "THEY" are doing but don't ask for fear of opening up old, slowly healing wounds.

I am definately more stern with him, it just doesn't happen often enough. It just seems like he and I do all the playing and he and his mother do everything else.
