Glad as many folks made it through unscathed as did, but my heart still goes out to all the Folks of Joplin and other places that have been hit by disasters, earthquakes, floods, tornadoes. It has not been a good couple months.

Btw Glad to hear you are safe Randy. The other day as soon as I heard Joplin Missouri was hit I prayed you were ok didn't know how close that was to you. Lets hope these storms simmer down quickly!

Joplin is within 50 miles of Tom and about 300 miles West of us. We are about 30 miles north of the Highway 25/60 junction in Southeast Missouri.

My wife uses the XD-40 subcompact and likes it over the G-27, which I prefer. I have a XD 45 tactical that I really like.
I am guessing the 9mm would be just fine. There are a few things I don't care for in the Sub compact XDs though.
