I've carried several knives at SOB like that and yeah they will poke you in the back when setting and can possibly mess up some seats, mine were always covered by a shirt or coat and didn't present a problem like that. IF I get the angle and height correct, it's not a problem for me.

Yeah all the ones I carried were rubber type handled blades.

I used to carry my hunting knives at the back with never a problem, same with horizontal carry in the back, the HEST is the only one that caused a problem.
I do like the HEST though

I wonder how your cupid compares to the HEST

Cupid and Scrapivores are very comparible to the Izula. HEST is a lot beefier knife.

I would imagine that the cupidvore would not be as robust as the Hest, seeing as how the hest is supposed to be a lot thicker, which does not really mean that much, but the handle slabs, THAT will make a difference. Dan DID say that the Scrapivore/cupidvore wasn't a pry bar, except for the pommel end.

just looking the hest is 3/16 thick compared to 1/8 for the cupidvore, so yes the izula is probably the better comparison

i have a becker necker which i am experimenting with as a neck knife, the only thing i don't like is how short the handle is
