I carry a G-27 for a CCW. Not a fan of glocks for the weird grip angle but they have my respect. Could never shoot worth a snot with one though.

I've got a Glock model 19 that I need to have a new set of sights put on. I ripped off the rear after getting it from the cabinet where I had it secured one night when I had to go down into the jail area.

How in the heck did you rip off a sight? You must have been doing a hulk and that must have been one heck of a cabinet. Plastic sight? Mine have always been metal.

It was one of the originals. It used to belong to another officer that died while off work one day, he bought it sometime prior to I THINK 1972. I bought it from his Widow to help her out and I will never sell it. Yeah plastic sights, funny thing is it was only the 6th time I had carried it.

Oh and I was in a hurry to get out of the office and back on a call. I just opened the cabinet door, grabbed it and it got hung up on the door casing on the way out, stupidity on my part. Oh and I was off duty but riding around with a deputy. I still carried my Sig P220 as my ON duty weapon.
