Actually I traded off another knife for that one. After another GREAT dog did a Proxy for me and got me a 6.5 Regulator I realized after I got it that it was just thicker than I wanted for that blade length and that I wouldn't use it. I got a chance at a Bull Nose and know I WILL use it, so Trade made!

Now do not get me wrong, I LOVE the Shape and size of the 6.5 but the thickness, after I got it just turned me off. Not if it had been say .187-.200 in thickness I would have kept it.

We have Rye bread here as well although it is not as popular as regular white bread or whole wheat. But for certain sandwiches Rye bread is the bread of choice.

You should try My "Party Pizza" from the Scrap yard Cook book thread. You use Rye bread to make it. A VERY quick snack after you get it made and the best part is you can freeze it for use later!

I´ve noticed that at least Busse(+kin) knives are quite thick. Here in the land of puukko leuku might be thick but then it´s also long. Puukko has usually quite thin and narrow blade.

I think Dan and Jerry makes the knives because of the Guarantee they put on them. Plus the fact that they intend their knives to be used, HARD and know that they will often times be used for purposes that a knife isn't really meant to fulfill.

That´s understandeble. It was couple of years ago when I first visited SY site and I liked what I saw then. Back then it felt quite distant idea ordering a knife from the US.

Haha, Yes the world does seem to be getting smaller all the time. I mean even 20 years ago, who actually realized that two people from two countries thousands of miles apart would be "talking" to each other almost instantly over a computer!

About the winter: the Golf stream brings warm water (warming air) towards north. That´s the reason we have milder and shorter winters that you might think.

Unfortunately I didn't put as much importance on school as I should have and I COMPLETELY agree about the internet! It can be used for many GOOD things!
