It's a 30 hour OSHA certification course, just general stuff about safety, the GC we are working with wants each sub to have at least one guy with a 30 hour I have developed and instruct various Safety Courses for the company I work for. Here in Canada most workplace safety falls under provincial jurisdiction

I'm already done with summer, can't wait for it to cool back down, I'm starting to plan a canoe camping trip in the glades onceit cools down a bit I'm looking for a canoe or kayak to fish out of. I really want a sit-on kayak

I will be looking for a canoe once fall/winter hits for next year.
Used to canoe a lot in my teens, but haven't done it in 16 or 17 years

I got a pretty nice three person canoe for Christmas, haven't used it much yet, have to get out on my lake and start using it more

Do you guys have mandatory boaters training in the US (recreational not commercial)?
We don't for manual powered canoes, dingies etc but once you put a motor on then you have to be licensed

I've never had anything to do with kayaks but to me one you set down inside of would seem more stable.
