Yeah, I did but I went ahead and got the tabs again for now. I just got what I saw first but I am going to get the gel. It will be a lot easier and I think it should act faster as well.

The gel is the preferred method for first responders here in BC, however there is nothing wrong with the tablets

The tablets are harder to digest(chew up) though. Specially once they have been in the glove box for a while. I wonder how the gel reacts to the heat.

That I don't know.
I do know the beauty of the gel is that you can just smear it inside your cheek for it to be dissolved.
I would ask your pharmacist on the heat question

I went shooting yesterday morning and need to clean a few rifles and a pistol. It was not bad until the sun came over the tree cover. Then it was time to vamoose.

Got to say, 5 rds and I had the L1A1 sighted in. Amazing how much better I shoot an Inch pattern rifle than a Metric version.

The M38 I got from my dad was a blast, literally. I was hitting a 1 lt bottle at 100 yds 4 out of 5 shots consistently. I do believe that carbine will be accompanying me in the thick woods as a deer/pig gun. I am quick with the sights and the ballistics on the 54R is close to the 30-06 rd. Why not, the old war horses need to be shot/used too.
