Our department went from Sig P220 .45 to P226 .40, and I was really impressed with the .40 round. Shooting steel plates, the 40 puts them down with more authority than the .45. Matter of fact, the 45 and the 9mm seem about equal to me on the plates.

The sigs are nice to clean and carry as well as the glocks and my kimber bites to clean it . i don,t think i will ever get another bushingless barrel in a 1911 although it has never failed me and shoots great.

really. what i have figured out is that with a 9mm you have more through power. with a 45 you have more knock down power. and then with the 40 you get the best of both you get the through and the knock down thats how i have seen it but then again i could be wrong but i like all of them either way i really like to shoot a 50cal if you have never shot one you got to try it i like the .44mag as well. in all honesty i just like weapons in general guns, knives, anything that can cause harm that is actually made for it not just like a stick

My brother has a Kimber, and I wouldn't give him $5 for it. Beautiful gun, but jams constantly.

BC the 36 is 45acp. nothing wrong with the 40 i just prefer the 45 acp. the 45 in same size pistol as the 40 will have less recoil .

Most fun I ever had shooting was when I got to shoot a Tommy gun. Full auto .45 ACP.

RTH has he had the ramp pollished thats the first thing i do on any auto i buy . and the kimber was no exception.

Shooting the suppressed MP5 was fun too. Gotta love training day!

Probably not. He's more of a collector than a shooter anyway, I doubt he's shot 100 rounds through it. I've shot it quite a bit more than he has, just trying to break it in.

I prefer the SIg 229 in 40 although my newer beaver tail has never felt as good as the old one that got stolen (dirty thieves, I hope they shoot themselves with it). I have never liked shooting the 1911's unless they were double stacks. I just love the way the Sigs feel.
