RTH if you can find a police trade in in the 23 it might save you some money . I can get them through the LEO program for about $400, IIRC.

I used it to get my g19. Paid about that for it. I think the g23 is the same price.

Have to have a letter from the dept on the department letterhead and a LEO ID. Plus it has to come from a law enforcement dealer, which is about 2 hours east if here. It's aggravating but you can save some money.

Todd, same way I got my Colt AR15A3. IIRC I paid $705.00 for it back in 1975.
