I had a para cord leg tie with a slide knot but it would go loose after 100 feet of walking. I have a stiff upper on my Reg sheath so I just took off the leg tie but that kinda sucks because it wants to bend at the top when you pull the blade out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> thinking of making a elastic strap next.
Knifenut do you think you will be going to the Indy G&K show?

Yeah I thought that push comes to shove, I could sew a piece of heavy duty elastic to the nylon strap and the would provide enough give to stay in place. You could pull it tight but not so tight it would interfere with circulation.

That's kinda what I was thinking, tight enough to stay put but loose enough to not rub you raw.

Truthfully I don't keep up on the shows and have no idea what is going on. Would love to one day be able to go to a few though.

I know the Yard/Swamp/Trough will be there. Do you guys have any experience with Fenix torches?

I don't, only seen a couple at gun shows and they seemed nice. A lot of folks here have them and say they are really good lights.

Well I just got the LD20 today. Runs on two AA. It is the brightest light I have had 180 lumens. Anyway. The set up seems kinda odd to me. With the bezel( I think it is ) twisted fully to the left it has two settings Turbo full 180 and then strobe. For some reason Strobe is engaged if I turn the light onto turbo and then turn the light back off then back on again without much hesitation. Give it a least one second though and a slower depression it seems on the switch it will go back to turbo.

I guess my question is why does it need a pause to not go to the strobe? Also the four other settings can only be accessed in succesion. Low medium high then SOS. If I turn it on low then off then back on it goes to medium. Just seems kinda like a confusing set up.

Full tighten of the head gives strobe and turbo, if you tap the switch within 1.5 seconds of each tap you will switch modes. Turn head to the 1/4 turn and you will get the other 4 modes with the same tail switch operation.

Changing modes is just a slight depression of the switch, you do not want it to click.
