How is the weather down in Florida, and How's your day In South Africa? Hi Randy. The day was long, to many people in the shops! Three knives, jip, that is the most I would carry, can do fine with just two. But the SAK is always there. Ideal EDC is a small fixed blade, Izula, Swamp Warden, Rodent Solution and SAK. Can do everything with it. I use to think bigger is always better, but I have grown a bit wiser in what my needs require. Congrats on the 31k! Night Randy, night everyone else, time for bed!

Evening Dogs. Great golf outing today got to spend time with my daughter and nephew. Glad you had a great time with your daughter and sounds like the golf was good. Before the hip surgery I was golfing as much as I could and miss it big time, I've been watching all I can since being laid up but that makes it worse.

Very slow still quite a bit of pain and discomfort, been three weeks as an example back in feb when they did my left hip the day after surgery they had me riding a bike and I never looked back. I'm not to worried as I do my exercises twice a day and will start outside physical therapy this week, finally drove tuesday but just a short distance, like they say no pain no gain. Doctor also said make sure an take my pain meds so I can work through the discomfort. As for golf my wife and I met on the golf course and played for about eight years before we even dated, we use to play 5-6 days a week.

Hi folks. Perhaps one of you can help me identify a knife. It appears to be a Busse with a highly curved cutting edge. Not a big knife. I have a friend who lost an arm in the sand pit, and I think this would be perfect for him. He is using a cheese knife right now, and rocks it to cut his food, etc. He is also very independent, so cutting his food for him is not going to happen. Since he can't hold the food with a fork, the rocking motion works great. I am always sharpening his current knives for him, as they do not hold an edge for very long. Add the edge retention if it's infi, and the coolness factor, I think he would love this for Christmas.

Martinus, thank you. Yeah I don't actually need to carry three knives, but I have gotten so used to me "Little Sebbie" and "Uncle Umm" that I feel half dressed without them. And as for the Emerson karambit, it is in my pocket "Just in case", and hoping I never need it for anything. I never pull it out of my pocket so only maybe six people even know I have it, and it's gonna stay that way.
