I can't remember if the double cut DM came with the coated blade or not, if it did you could always send it back to be recoated for a small fee. I know many here love the polished look so you can always go that route too.

I had great time. I was showing the ropes to one of my friends who just started archery. It was his fiest big game hunt. A steep learning curve.

The season is a month long. It was really cool. I was surrounded by a group of 16 Elk. They walked right up and around me and never noticed me. It was 8 spike bulls with a few cows and and young calves. My friend was on the next ridge and watched them walk around me. It was neat.
