Just seems childish to me. I could never understand the whole thing when I first saw a ganza post. I guess somebody thinks it's funny.

In a way it is childish, but its much more than that, its a brilliant business plan. How many companies do you know where customers are competing with each other to buy a few expensive products? But its also fun if you don't get carried away and buy something just because its available "now and never again". If you see a knife in an upcoming ganza that you really want for a real reason, its kind of exciting to get to pick your number from the hat, and if you do get to buy it, it makes you like it so much more. i didn't like the Ganza and fakes at first until I feel for a fake the first time and missed out. I guess I eventually realized I was taking it all too serious. won in the next few ganzas and sweated out another while stuck at work. it's all in fun so it should be taken like that. Fact is you can screw around and miss the Busse knife you really want by a minute, a month, or years.
