Best shooting .22 I have is my dad's old 552 Remington Speedmaster. It's even more of a tackdriver than my 10/22.

DUH! We went to see "The Help". It's about black maids just as the Civil rights movement was starting out. Set in Jackson Mississippi. Actually a good movie, some funnny parts, some sad parts. White girl writes a book about working for the white folk from the maids perspective.

It's hard once you have the urge to modify a rifle but like the others said if it ain't broke. The 10/22 platform begs to be modified but I've never found it to my tastes, maybe because I started with an AR and really like that type of rifle. I can remember looking at the mini 14 but then I built my own AR for about the same price and it was over for me.

I sold a Rock River AR15 not too long ago. Never shot it much, just didn't see the need to keep it. Now I'm wanting one again....

I put that much through mine the first weekend that I had it. Unfortunately, that was about the time ammo shot through the roof and I couldn't shoot up my reserve supply.

One of my build is on a RRA lower but I also have a RRA 9mm complete rifle, it's an flat top and it is a dream to shoot. I never have had the chance to take either of my .22s out to shoot yet but hopefully soon.
