been wanting some digital calipers. trying to decide if I should run to harbor freight or try to find some a little better. think a cheap set will do fine for what I'm needing but want some nicer ones at some point.

Hey lazi. I just bought a stainless digital micrometer off of eBay for 13.99. I think they'll be fine for measuring knives.

I bought a dial caliper from a hardware store nearby, and it was like $40. Accurate, but it was made out of plastic. I think I'll prefer the cheap digital one.

was at lowes and they had one for $30. looked okay but I think ~$20 would be fine for now since I may end up on the road soon and never really use it. plus I'm sure I would want a nice one at some point. I'm going to make a few diy gadgets from some parts laying around. May pick a better soldering iron and also looking for a stand for my dremel.
