I'm thinking about getting another Eze-lap model M sharperner and add it to the parang.

i got some yard clean up to do here and for mother n law , last time i used a good one itook chunks out of it on a brick under the grass, this way i have one to keep in the truck.

I watched a review where they said Gerber stated that the steel is 1055 on the parang and I believe they said the thickness is 1/8 inch.

I think a cheap machete would probably work about as well, depending on the edge grind. But I'm still interested in hearing the results.

I'd get one for $30 shipped. May just do that come payday.

I can't do it no matter what. I just use the cart as a kind of walker, I look pathetic but got it done.
