Ryan, to quote a famous movie scene, "You chose wisely" to get out of that situation and into a better one. We have all at one time or another done something that we wish we had not. The trick, one what you appear to have gotten right is to change and not get blinded by the that green and gold!
I know a lot of folks would and might call me crazy, but I would rather work for a third or half as much in a job I truly like, one where I didn't have to buy Tums by the case just to get through my workdays. Well said Randy! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I completely agree. I don't miss my Copley Square apartment and expensive furniture. My $200 couch and the love seat I found on the side of the road are much more homely and comfortable than anything I had before.

Where I work now is very close to the financial district, and there is a European designer furniture store across the street. I went in there once and you wouldn't believe the prices. A sectional sofa that was stiff as a board and terribly uncomfortable was on sale for only $28,000! What a deal on some leather and wood! The lowest priced item in there was probably a couple grand. Give me a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, and food on my table and I'm a happy man. Throw in a wife that cooks me dinner and rubs my back, among other things every night, and I'd be the happiest man on earth! Oh and of course I need my knives and guns (of which I have none thanks to Boston Gun Laws. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />)

Ryan, How the situation with your lady? I hope all is better today. She came back with about a dozen shopping bags on each arm and admitted to over reacting. We agreed to have a rational discussion about it at a later time. And then had make up umm grown up time... Is that PC enough?
