Sounds like you guys are doin good. I went ahead and bit the bullet and got that BG Parang. Arrived here today and isn't all that sharp but I can fix that up. Looking forward to playing with it. I still have some limbs I need to whack that I didn't get the other day with my bulldog (to high up).

Comfiest handles of all the inexpensive parangs/machetes I've tried out.

Got the 5-11 a few hours ago. Haven't had time to play with it because I took my lady out to dInner and then went to the doctor.
First impressions are that it's sweet! Matt is responsible for a LARGE patch of hair missing from my leg and a cut on my strong hand index finger.
The blade is smaller than I thought, but I still like it a lot! I think a Choil mod is in order, however!
