Seriously though, how is the steel on the vorpal? I have to say I've never been overly impressed with the heat treat on the barkies but I know 1095 CAN be done well.

The heat treat and performance on my bravo 1 (A2 steel) is excellent

I've never cut anything with it. It has lived in it's sheath for all these years and the only "tarnish" on it is where the snaps go through the leather. Oh It's the bead blasted finish.
