I think my 95 Trans Am was the fastest car I ever had. I saw 156 mph in it one time. Fastest I ever got the 442 was about 120 or so.

The Grand National wasn't a bad car either, especially considering how it was only a 6 banger!

They were pretty sweet too. I loved the Gran Torino as well.

Mom and Dad bought a 1968 delmont 88 oldsmobile retired highway patrol car. Never did find out what engine was in it but 120 was about 4 o"clock on the wristwatch face and I saw the needle pointing straight down! Funny thing is that dad bought a GOOD 454 and put in it, didn't run near as good.

I saw a Grand National for sale the other day in the next town over. Only wanted $2800 for it.

Must have been a wreck. Oh and I messed up in my post, the Car was a 1968 Delmont 88 Oldsmobile two door.

Body wasn't too bad, but the motor was blown.

Did you know the GN was faster than a Vette except on the top end.

Think it was 88 or 89 that Pontiac put Grand National engines in some Trans Ams. Limited run, but I really wanted one. I've only seen a couple in person.
