I wanted to see what you all think about these mini blades out now. ESEE has an arrowhead and Tops has the Hoffman harpoon mini. Kind of a cool idea. I think it would be great if the Yard had some multi-use mini blade that could fit in a PSK. What do you think???

What's the point of them? I don't think I could find any useful purpose for one of those

I have an ESEE AH1 on the way. I think they are a great idea for a PSK. That way you don't have to tie your knife on to a spear or rely on a wood tip arrow.

The AH1 is tiny but perfect for a PSK. I like the mini harpoon better because it doubles as a neck knife or small chore knife. Also it has enough of a handle that you can hold it and it's cord wrapped too. A big blade is great but it can't do everything. Every tool has its limits.

I am sure that Dan could come up with a better idea and make something that we all could use. PSK are hot right now and I would much rather carry a Dog then some other brand when it comes to my PSK.

While I personally don't want a mini blade, some folks seem to like them. Just a little reminder of rule #6 might be in order here.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Sorry Horn Dog. Just throwing out some ideas for new blades in the Yard. I love Scrap Yard's knives so much that I want all my blades to be Dogs.

I understand completely, LB. Sometimes it's hard to describe what you mean without referring to another manufacturer's product. But now that we all know what a mini blade is, let's confine the discussion to what you might like to see from SYKCO.

I got it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I sure think it would be cool to have a little dog to put in my Reg's sheath pocket. Or something to wear around my neck like the Rats have. Also, I like the idea of a mini blade that can easily be turned into a spear head yet still do fine detail work.
