Gentlemen,
I have been seaching for ages for some way to purchase Scrap Yard Knives in Europe without result. I managed, after a great adventure, to aquire a SR Camp Tramp, and after that experience, I can´t think of other blade maker (I have some knives by Fallkniven) but... although nice, they do not provide the same peace of mind. This being so, I would be great if someone could help me on my quest of finding a seller inside the EU!
Thanks!

Welcome to the Yard Luso! I would say, the best way is to watch the exchange over at Bladeforums and if you find a knife you want, ask the seller to ship to you( some will as long as you cover the extra shipping). Good luck!

Luso - Howdy and Welcome to the Scrap Yard! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Congrats on scoring a Camp Tramp, as many have tried for a long time to get one with no success. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Luso, Welcome to the Best factory knives (and better than A LOT of Custom Makers) in the world! Yup, we are a loyal lot even if we do "mess" with each other, but it's all in a playful mood.
As for as your question, you might send a PM (private message) to Jersybob, who is in the channel islands between Great Britan and France (Hope I got it right) and Vladdracul who is in Romania. They might be able to give you some input.
And you might also contact Michelangelo who is in Italy.
Good Luck on your quest for the best knives you will ever own!

Luso, welcome to the Yard. I agree on the catching the stores for a knife.

Steel Fan, you're over there as well aren't you? I had fogotten, I'm sorry. I really like your informative posts, but I hate some of the pictures you put up. You got knives I want and don't have! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thank you, people! You are very kind. Although I am registred since the last days of 2006, I became very frustrated by not being able to get some of these fabulous knives. I have already managed to find a Busse dealer in Germany but the prices do make someone think more than twice.
The camp tramp? Lot of pleasure, very dependable, easy to sharpen. But "She" already gave me 6 stiches on my left leg to make me remind about being careful.
In the meantime I went to Fallkniven and Extrema Ratio. Very gimmicky those Extremas.
BTW, Fallkniven spark very nicely with flint rod. Never tested my CT with one. Any experience with this?

it has alot to do with the sharpness of the striker (knife).
