I thought it would be appropriate to honor our four legged friends. I couldn't find a thread like this. If it has been started I apologize.

names murphy. rescued him was only 14 pounds when we got, him now he's 26. hes not the toughest dog in the world but that's what he's got me for.

not the best hiker either i believe i had to carry him a mile or so.

I do have a favorite dog though..




He loves going camping,short hikes,collecting fatwood & chewing up logs.

Here is Cisco(the boxer, with Stella my sister's dog when she came to visit) He is unfortunately no longer with me.



And Ty, who is now showing his age and cant go on all the hikes I do, he is 11.

You All have some great babies. I wish I owned a camera, then I could show my Airedales.

These pictures are about 3 years old

This is Bear, she is 16 now. We rescued her from abusive owners when she was about 18 months old. Hard to believe she was skin and bones when we got her. She is deaf now and has heart problems, but we can't put her on a diet because she just digs up worms and grubs in the back yard when we do.




This is Sargent and he is 14 now. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. He has hip problems now and can't walk to far (not genetic, he injured his pelvis when younger)
I don't know how much time he has left, some days he loses control of his bowels. As long as he is not in pain and can get around we have a place for him. We love him too much to allow him to suffer

This is our little girl Penny. She's a Jack Russell and is 13 now. This was taken about 2 years ago.
