i thought i missed my opportunity to get a B11 or a SY dogfather. dont they only have a 1 or 2 offerings at one time? if i missed the time they were doing preorders then i thought the ship sailed and it wont be offered again. are you saying that all knifes (other than the LEs) can be ordered and SY will manufacture them for me. or are you saying i should try to find a seller on the the secondary market?

The secondary market is where you would have to look. Unless they did a reissue but there isn't much chance is that.

okay, that's what i thought, Bussekin shops only make one or two blade at a time. Architect had my hopes up, i thought there might have been a chance that Dan would recreate some of his old masterpieces for people.

*sigh* I missed out on so many great Bussekin knives.

You can also find old blades at shows Blade West (unfortunately cancelled indefinitely) use to be in Portland in Septembers.

There is a big knife show in Eugene each year that gets some Bussekin at it.

maybe it was wishful thinking on my part. i noticed that scrapyard didnt post their Regulator under the "Knives" link. i thought that might have meant that its a limited production...but then i guess all of their knives are limited productions.

come to think of it, have you ever wondered why Bussekin has LE runs- isnt every knife they make a Limited Edition?

Burdan,
LE is generally in smaller numbers, finer finished out, different edges and/or different angles.
BTW, welcome to the Yard.
