I worked in a "family style" restaurant while in High School. After seeing the uneaten "family style" dishes come back into the kitchen, and get "recycled" (ie - dumped back into the corn, green beans, mash potatoes, fried chicken, etc) I swore off eating out for a long time. gross, I've always heard horror stories about all fast food restaurants

My first paying job was as an oilfield hot shot company driver. I was 16 and made $8/hr, waaaay more than my buddies. Did it for 4 years until I enlisted in the Marine Corps.

Todd, have you smelled a pig farm? lol Oh yeah, but I've never worked on one. We have 5 in the lot right now getting fattened up for this fall. We have a few (25 or so) chickens too.

This wasn't a fast food chain. It was a family owned restaurant that served "family style" food. I don't know if that's a Southern Indiana thing, but a lot of places here still serve everything in big bowls that everyone at the table serves out of.
