Mmmmm....Ham. I love those honey-baked hams.

You guys are making me excited about ThanksGiving!!! I'm spending that week in the deer stand this year!!

Me too, already got the week off work approved. Can't wait!

Sweet! I'm hoping I knock something down so I can do a blade review with a little blood / gore.

Turkey farms can smell pretty rough! There's a few of them around here.

We had one near us when I was a kid. Our dog got into it and killed all of the turkeys, something like 170.

The owner of the one I worked on tried "free range turkeys" once. Fenced in about 25 acres and just turned a bunch loose. Fed and watered them every day, but other than that they were on their own. Dogs got in once and killed about 200 of them. We put up tree stands to watch for dogs, ended up shooting about half a dozen. I didn't much like that, but couldn't have them killing the birds.

Yeah, the owner wanted to kill our dog. But my dad wouldn't let him. I wouldn't have blamed the guy, that's a lot of money.

Hey Dogs:

I hope you have your favorite drink and are ready to talk. My Buffalo Trace has been poured over the rocks and I am ready.

My First real job was being a Life Guard at a private swim and tennis club. I made 50 cents an hour more than my buddies cutting grass and cleaning up. Big money back then. The the benefits of all those girls ...the ultimate first job...heck I would have paid them to work there, thank goodness they did not know that.

Remember the first one to respond to this post gets a $25 shop credit

Let's sip n talk

Dan

For the first Dog to remember what my first car was and that I bought with my lifeguard money I will give a $50 dollar shop credit. We will see how good you really are...my memory is never good on bourbon LOL

my first real job was as a grocery store over night stock boy. they put me on the cans and jars. believe or not that was some pretty hard and heavy work! especially when you are told you "have to" do a certain amount. little did I know there was a snack isle and also tissue isle that the senior guys spent the whole night coasting through. I would kill myself only to go to take a bathroom break and pss by a guy sleeping on a pallet or PTSD guys hanging out talking!
