Here's one I shouldn't share. I was a helicopter crew chief in the service. An arial gunnery instructor. I was training in Yuma, AZ. We were flying along the range shooting at stationary targets, then my pilot calls out "troops in the open at 2 o'clock". That just means firing in a sweeping motion with the XM-218 .50 cal machine gun. So I did, then I saw some wild burrows, and I shot one to pieces. I couldn't stop my self. It was just pink mist. My only military casualty. oh that is just bad <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It's true, it was about 12 years ago and it still bothers me a little. It's my "nam" story. Guess I was fortunate. I guess we can all get carried away. I know I have

Thinking back there have been a few things that have met their demise due to me expediating them. But [censored], those prairie dogs are a nuisance, pigs are too, and jack rabbits are meant to be moving targets.
