Scam alert!!!! Important please read!!!

Many of you are getting e-mails from Will York claiming that he is stuck in the UK and needs money.

DO NOT RESPOND IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!

We spoke with Will and he is fine and in the states.

One of my co-workers received a similar email from one of her email contact's address -- apparently it's one of the hot, new fraud schemes. Never, ever, send money based on an out-of-the-blue email contact. Even if someone is stuck somewhere outside of CONUS, they can find a way to call you on the phone so that you know it's really them.

Not that people normally think about it, but for close enough friends and family who you might render that kind of assistance to, it might be worth agreeing to a passphrase in advance that they'd include in a message to authenticate that it's from them. It sounds stupidly cloak-and-dagger, but that's the world we live in.

well there's one sure fire way to prevent yourself from being scammed. I've used this method many, many times and it seems to really work to keep these scammer guys from getting money from you.

I just wanted to update everyone. Will is ok and has gotten rid of the nasty virus/evil computer hackage. He did lose all of e-mail contacts so if you sent him a e-mail and have not gotten a response please resend it.

I got an email like that from a previous customer... I figured it was spam, now I know for sure.
