I'm in for several. This was the knife I really wanted when I first looked at the Scrap yard website and tried to order one before I figured out you couldn't.

Despite trying to figger out the Ganzaa! by 'Search' + the concise explanation of a fellow member over on 'Scrapivore',I'm still struggling.

Sometimes I'm as dense as a locust post.

OkHere's my try, I'll start to explain in the next post so stand by.

Dan will probably announce that the Scrapivore is "Up for sale" here on the site, I would figure in a thread all it's own with instructions to email Renee with your information, name address payment instructions (they usually wait on actually getting any money from you when until it's actually ready to be shipped to you) then you wait for Renee to let you know it's ready. At some date it could probably be put up on the "for sale section" of the site.

I hope this helps. To try and make it simple

1. Dan announces it's up for sale.

2. Instructions on where and how (what information needed) to "pre-order' one.

3. Wait until Renee lets you know she is ready to start charging for them. IF you don't use credit card, you CAN contact them and make other arrangements.

Now as to a model Dan has NOT announced, like the wished for SS154 blade this thread is all about, ONLY DAN knows. Oh and Yes he does listen. Some gets built, some does not. Sorry but that's the best answer I know how to give you.

The Ganzaa!-type sales seemed like maybe a special event,a "time-limited auction",so to speak? And usually held on or around holidays?

Aren't the Ganzaa! knives sold to the highest bidders?

Only problem (for me!)is: I have a bizarre schedule ,and spend lotsa time on-call,even if I'm not on-duty....and the hospital has all Forums + PayPal firewalled out entirely...so if I'm not home,I can't play!

And as luck would have it,it's my turn to cover holidays this year,dammit!
