Looking for a sheath that will fit my Dumpster Mutt CG. I'd like a nylon/cordura sheath. I have a Spec Ops Combat master, but it holds knives that are up to 0.25" and the DM is .285"
 Any suggestions?
 Thanks,

You can always heat up the insert in the oven and form it to the blade.
300 degrees until it's soft and then press it between two pieces of carpet foam with the knife in it.
Wrap the blade in two layers of masking tape for clearance.
The screw at the bottom of the sheath will get the insert out.
Don't apply to much pressure when you press it.
Pretty sure Rainwalker could make you a Kydex insert for it as well.

Kikaso, welcome to the Yard. There are several good sheath makers here. Just look around and you will find them.

Thanks a lot for all your help, everyone. I'm gonna try heating the kydex to fit DM. A lot of great info here.
Also, I'm having similar issues with long Spec Ops and my Ratweiler. Surprisingly, it fit the Chopweiler without issues, but I think the Ratweiler blade is a hair wider. Any suggestions or should I also try heat?
 Thanks,

Welcome to the yard. We have many great sheath makers here on the board. My personal favorite is Jeff ( Rainwalker)- you might contact him through PM. His work is excellent plus he is one great guy-Luck

Welcome to the yard! Whenever I ran into that problem I just threw the Kydex Insert into a pot of boiling water and put the knife in several times until perfect fit. Just try not to burn yourself

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
I've been lurking for a few months and about a month ago I picked up a gorgeous desert Dogfather, then came the Dumpster Mutt, then a desert SOD, then a Scrapper 5 and now I'm on the hunt for a Scrapper 6. Suffice to say I'm hooked!
Another question for you guys: does the sheath Scrap Yard sells for 6" knives fit the DM?
 Thanks again!

I ended up sending my original DM to Eric at Mashed Cat for a Kydex drop leg: ![[Linked Image from i99.photobucket.com]](http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/Izhmash/Bussekin/SYKCODumsterMuttCG_Mashed.jpg) It's fantastic...and is spaced for molle-loks, which is how I carry it most of the time (attached to a pack / go-bag).

I have a couple of kydex sheaths that came minus the Tek-Lok, si I just made a leather belt-loop and secured it to the sheaths with a couple of "Chicago" screws.
