Wait one last thing, I may have told this story before. 5 years ago when I turned 40 my daughters (then 15 & 16) bought me a Zombie Survival Kit. It was a paper bag with ZOMBIE SURVIVAL KIT written on the side in black. Inside was a box of rock salt, a large U shaped darning needle and twine (for traditional voodoo zombies you can prevent them from rising by filling their mouth with salt and sewing it shut)ALSO included in the kit was a machete for loping off heads.
I still have the kit, one of my all time favorite gifts

Ok, it's official. Here are the numbers from USA TODAY, 11-3-2010 electronic edition. THE WALKING DEAD IS A HIT! Zombie hit. The opener of AMC's The Walking Dead averaged 5.3 million viewers Sunday, an original-series network record that more than doubles the typical audience of Mad Men.

Did anyone find out what Bussekin blade was on the show and what scene it was in?

The first episode did NOT have a Bussekin blade in it, but a later episode has a Team Gemini according to Jerry. Good morning Randy!

In the Zombie Survival Guide it is inferred that a zombie can sense the presence of the solanum virus (zombie virus)in another zombie so they won't eat each other. Zombies do prefer to eat human flesh, however according to the guide they will eat the meat of any animal.
Night, this geek is going to bed now SO I kill the zombie and put on a NBC suit. After putting the NBC suit, I can put the dead-dead zombie blood on me and have my scent masked? How long does the virus last outside of the body?

I did see a Buck 110 but that was the only blade. I think that early release and viewing of the movie will make an average guy like myself out of the loop to get a shop credit.

OK you crazy zombie lovers. I endured about 5 minutes of the nonsense. The Walking Dead will no doubt be much more popular than the Rubicon series was. But Rubicon scares me a lot more, because there is some truth in it. It was a great series, and I hope AMC brings it back. We now return you to your regularly scheduled Zombie Fest!
