Hello all....Sorry I have been off the forum for a while. Here are the reasons why.

I came off active duty back to regular life.
Been looking for a new job (not really happy with the one I got)
Family sickness (father and grandfather)
Started a new business (weapons refinishing)
Working on shop (for the new business)
Girlfriend (got to keep her happy)

Hello again Jeff; I've missed seeing you at Knob Creek. So you're gone from the Fort Knox area for good now -- that explains it. I assume MO's where you're from originally. I've always heard it's nice out (and up) there, but that the Winters are pretty hard. Good luck with the startup and I look forward to hearing about how things are going for you on the board.

I was on one year orders that turned into 2 and a half year orders!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I am glad to be home but will miss the contacts and friends I made in KY. I would definitely be down for it. I have a couple Regulators that may want something special on them.

How tough is the coating? How does it wear compared to the factory coating?

Depending on what Dan offers for colors on the Scrapivore you may get a few requests

CeraKote is much tougher than DuraCoat. It wears well. There are a lot of large manufactures that use it on there production blades. I use DuraCoat still for the more custom jobs. It really affords me the ability to do some complex patterns as well as use on scopes and some plastics.
