I may have missed it, but is the Scrapivore LE in the store picture considered a right or left handled model? My instinct would be to have the pommel bevel be up with the blade spine against my right palm, which would be the opposite of the one pictured: However, as I think more about it, if I have the bevel-side down, the bevel grind becomes a fulcrum for closer work, which might be better for a small lever. As discussed in another discussion, I want the bevel up for a crowbar, but a crowbar has a long enough arm that I can depend on being able to use environmental objects as a fulcrum -- for something as short as a Scrapivore, I'm less likely to have that option. Of course, for the amount of prying that I'm actually likely to do, I may be way over-thinking this.

I believe that is a righty, bevel down acting like a fulcrum for close work. Knife spine in palm of right hand.

I think that you're probably right. I plan to wait and see how the folks like this LE before I make a final decision about ordering any. I know that many have been clamoring for a skelly-handled Scrap Yard release, but I'm not one of them.
I suspect that as skelly knives go, this is a good, functional, ergonomic design, and it may be well worth getting a few just to keep up my collection. However, I consider the primary role of a skelly design to be a "hold-out" knife, carried concealed and close to the body. Based on what I've heard about SR101's corrosion characteristics, extended contact with my sweat would rust SR101, and I do sweat. I'd have preferred it in the more stain-resistant 154CM, although SR101 is tougher and as noted, skellys aren't really my thing anyway. Still, if I do decide to order some, I want to make sure I order the "right" ones.

What is the turn around time expected for these beauties?
No choil, thin and high hardness. Might get carried more than my BAD! And obviously more than the CABS, just from the handy length.

Jim in the video where they had a closeup of him holding the knife I THINK it showed the bevel UP in the Right hand as for cutting. Therefore the bevel would be DOWN when holding the blade, spine in your hand.
