How about a nice 4" full flat ground pointy Warncliff blade next? I am looking for a good camping knife and this is what I am after. Make it nice and pointy not a sheepsfoot blade and it will still have more than enough tip for any task.

I think Busses made something like this called the Sus Scrofa but that was more of a Hawkbill than a true Warncliff. What I would want is the Res-C smooth handle like on the old Dumpster Mutt and a plain un-coated thin Warncliff blade of 4-5".

Also, don't add a choil or a pry-bar at the base of the handle.

I could really get into a Scrofa-style blade. I know it's not a true Wharncliffe, but it's a good utility knife.

I like my wharnies to have the slightest belly, I find them much more useful that way.

The blade shape is such that you can cut very straight lines. I cut a fair amount of vinyl flooring with it when I worked construction.

Good for carving and cutting rope and wire and such as that. Good outdoors/boating blade.

If not a mega chopper then a wharnie would be great. And a little belly wouldn't hurt.
